Lawnside
Lawnside was an extensive renovation project in South Dublin. Cougar Construction were asked by our clients to provide modernised bathrooms, new floor coverings, wooden ceilings, a beautiful new front door, new flooring, newly plastered walls and extensive painting and decorating. Other works consisted of a full electrical rewire, re-plumbing the entire house, reinstating the original cornice work to exterior walls, new window boxings which were constructed throughout the house and all the radiators boxed in with bespoke radiator cabinets to match the period of the house. A dividing wall was demolished between the front room and rear main room to create one large room. All of the skirting and architraves were created as one-off mouldings that had to be faithfully reproduced for the project. The work that Cougar Construction undertook at Lawnside turned a house that needed just a little TLC, into a modern, bright, stylish family home.
